Return to yourself

Sometimes we find ourselves alone. Without family close, without friends around, without a relationship to lean on. And even if it feels uncomfortable, that’s often the exact moment we’re meant to turn toward ourselves. When everything external becomes quiet, the only place left to look is within. The place where the answers have always been, even when we were searching for them outside. The place we need to understand, accept, and embrace — even when it’s not easy.

Most of the time, we run. We run from discomfort, we run to keep things as they are, we run from facing ourselves. And we become very good at it. We stay busy, distracted, focused on everything else. Until one day, we can’t run anymore. And when that moment comes, it often feels like something is wrong, like everything is falling apart. But in reality, it’s just a point where we’re being asked to stop and look inward.

If you look at your life, you can start to see where that attention is needed. If something feels off in your work or business, there is something there asking to be understood. If your relationships feel different or strained, it might be a sign that you’re no longer aligned in the same way. And when things feel off in multiple areas, it usually means the change needed is deeper — not just external, but within you.

Instead of trying to fix everything at once, start by observing. Notice what doesn’t feel right anymore. Make small adjustments. Change something in your routine, try something new, bring in something that gives you energy. And if that means starting again in some areas, that’s okay too. You’re allowed to reshape your life as many times as needed to make it feel right for you.

“At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.”

Lao Tzu

And sometimes, it’s even simpler than that. If there’s something you’ve always wanted to do but kept postponing, just take that step. Not because it solves everything, but because it brings you closer to yourself.

And maybe that’s the point of those moments when everything feels quiet or even empty. Not to show you what’s missing, but to show you what’s waiting to be discovered within you. When you stop running and start listening, things begin to shift naturally. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to stay, to feel, and to take one honest step at a time. Because the more you turn toward yourself, the more your life starts to align with who you really are.
